K Chandrasekhar Rao's followers want to develop TRS in Andhra Pradesh
VIJAYAWADA: Local fans of Telangana state Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had put up banners on the roads of Vijayawada city welcoming him. Nearly 1,000 followers from Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and other districts were at Gannavaram airport to welcome Mr Rao and were present at the Kanaka Durga temple on Thursday. The followers formed a new outfit called Navyandhra TRS and erected posters and banners to welcome Mr Rao.
The posters were put up by secretary of the outfit Bandi Ramesh from Benz Centre to Durga temple on either side of Bandar road. Ardent follower Konijeti Adinarayana said they were impressed with the development of Telangana state under Mr Rao and were attracted to the TRS. He said that power supply, agriculture schemes and implementation of welfare schemes were very good in Telangana.
He said that after the formation of Telangana state, the TRS government had treated people of Andhra Pradesh like they were natives of Telangana, without showing any bias. He said that he and others had feared to do business in Krishna and Guntur districts but to their surprise the Telangana people cooperated with them.
