Hyderabad court convicts 4 people in MLA Akbaruddin attack case
Hyderabad: The Nampally Criminal Court on Thursday convicted four people in the attack on AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin under different charges.
However the main accused Mohammed Pahilwan and ten others were acquitted, as the charges levelled against them were not proved. The sentence is reserved.
The persons who have been convicted are Hassan Bin Omer, Abdullah Bin Yousuf, Awad Bin Younus, Mohammed Bin Saleh Wahlan.
Meanwhile heavy police forces have cordoned off the court premises and amid tight security three persons who were undergoing trial were brought to the court.
In April 2011, Mohammed Pahelwan and 14 others attacked Akbaruddin in Barkas. A case was registered at Chandrayanagutta police station and then was transferred to Central Crime Station.
