CM Chandrashekhar Rao seeks NRI help in reformation of Telangana

The leaders and representatives discussed the development of Telangana, national politics, and the welfare of NRIs.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Saturday announced that an NRI Cell with a Rs 50-crore fund would be set up to help NRIs during emergencies. He said that assistance would be available to NRIs from Telangana living in any country.

Mr Rao had lunch with NRI representatives at Pragati Bhavan on Saturday. Ministers K.T. Rama Rao and Nayani Narasimha Reddy, MP K. Kavita, MLAs Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Ganesh Gupta, Sri Srinivas Goud, and V. Prashanth Reddy, and NRI coordinator Mahesh Beegala were among those present.

The leaders and representatives discussed the development of Telangana, national politics, and the welfare of NRIs.

The Chief Minister urged NRIs from Telangana NRIs to start discussions on his mission to bring about a qualitative change in Indian politics by floating a third front at the national level.

He asked them to talk about the efforts being made by leaders in Telangana towards the development of a national agenda and called on them support the movement. He said that he wanted them to become stakeholders in the attempt being made to better the future of the country.
