Telugu Desam cadres and Telugu Nadu Students Union members on Wednesday burnt an effigy of YSR Congress Rajya Sabha MP V. Vijaya Sai Reddy.
The YSRC had alleged that he had escorted a consignment of Rs 50 crore belonging to a cousin of TD candidate Kondru Murali from the Narayana College Visakhapatnam on orders from DGP R.P. Thakur.
Nellore: Telugu Desam cadres and Telugu Nadu Students Union members on Wednesday burnt an effigy of YSR Congress Rajya Sabha MP V. Vijaya Sai Reddy at the Jyotirao Phule statue near Balaji Colony in Tirupati taking serious view of his derogatory remarks against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
They demanded the MP take back his words and tender unconditional apology to the CM. They slammed the leader for touching the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi when Telugu people are angry for denying the special category status.
