New Delhi: Little would Salima (name changed) have thought about the arduous times that lay ahead for her when her husband rejoiced about buying a brand new smart phone last year.
The 13-year-long marriage had seen much cordiality between the couple, who never quarrelled, but things just went downhill for Salima when her husband picked up the habit of downloading porn daily in his phone and started forcing her to imitate the adult performers, said a media report.
Though reluctant, she complied with her husband's newfound amusement with great difficulty. But as time went by, Salima put her foot down and began refusing her husband’s demands, only to pay dearly.
She was beaten up by her incensed husband, so much so that she had to be admitted in a hospital following severe injuries.
Seeking strict punishment for the mental and physical torture that she faced, Salima said “It was painful in the beginning, but later I started to refuse to act like porn stars. I started suffering because he downloaded new porn movies daily and asked me to act like that. I want punishment for my husband because he has harassed me mentally and physically.”
Salima’s husband, who runs a cloth printing shop in Ajmer's Patti Katla has been booked for domestic violence.
