Chennai: In the latest shuffle of IPS officers on Sunday, the government transferred 4 joint commissioners of police out from the city and brought in four officers to take their place.
Najmal Hoda, (JC, west, Chennai) has been transferred and posted as DIG, Kancheepuram and Santhosh Kumar (SP, commando force) promoted as DIG and posted as JC, west, Chennai.
Joshi Nirmal Kumar, DCP, Anna Nagar, has been promoted and posted as JC, north, Chennai, in place of R Dhinakaran, posted as DIG, Tirunelveli. T S Anbu, DIG, Tirunelveli, has been posted as the new JC, south, Chennai in the place of A Arun, who has been asked to take charge as DIG, Tiruchy range.
K.Bhavaneeswari, chief security officer, Metro Rail, has been promoted to DIG and posted as JC, traffic, Chennai, south in the place of P Nagarajan, posted as DIG, Salem range. Vidya Jayant Kulkarni, DIG, Salem, has been transferred and posted as DIG, CB-CID, Chennai. S Paner Selvam, DC, Traffic, Chennai, west has been promoted and posted as DIG, Tamil Nadu uniformed service recruitment board.
G Kathikeyan, principal, police training college, has been promoted and posted as DIG, Dindigul range. P C Thenmozhi, SP, economic offence wing, CBI, has been promoted as DIG.
A Kayalvizhi, SP, TNUSRB, will be the new security officer, Metro Rail. Rupesh Kumar Meena, SP, DVAC, has been transferred and posted as DC, Anna Nagar.
The government also posted Abhinav Kumar, SP, Nagapatinam as the new DC, Adyar, in the place of D Kannan, who has been asked to take charge as SP, Nagapatinam.
