Minister Dares Naidu to Debate on Failed' TD Manifesto

VIJAYAWADA: Housing minister Jogi Ramesh challenged Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and state president Kinjarapu Atchannaidu to a public debate on TD's failure to implement its manifesto during Naidu's time in government.

Ramesh declared he will demonstrate the success of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in fulfilling the YSR Congress' manifesto and expose Naidu's shortcomings.

Addressing the media at the YSRC central office in Tadepalli on Thursday, Ramesh asserted that people are aware of Naidu's struggles to maintain his party's presence in the state. To this end, he accused Naidu of trying to form alliances with other political parties. Ramesh claimed that Naidu lacked the courage to confront. Jagan Mohan Reddy and, as a result, is seeking alliances in the upcoming elections. He noted that people are grateful for ongoing welfare schemes benefiting SC, ST, BC, and minority communities under the YSRC government. Ramesh accused TD leaders of being unable to digest the people's happiness.

During the TD regime, except for Kuppam, Naidu's constituency, Ramesh alleged that development in the remaining constituencies came to a standstill. The housing minister criticised Naidu for engaging in non-local politics and highlighted that Naidu does not have a house in Andhra Pradesh.

He challenged TD president Atchannaidu to reveal the door number of Naidu's residence. Ramesh characterised Naidu as a tourist political leader in the state and attributed the party's limited success to 23 seats in the previous elections to the non-completion of the loan debt scheme during the TD period.

Subsequently, minister Ramesh asserted that his government had fulfilled all promises made before the elections, highlighting the people's satisfaction with the YSRC rule. Under the leadership of Jagan Mohan Reddy, the party aims for 'Why not 175,' he explained.

Ramesh highlighted that since coming to power, the YSRC has been dedicated to fulfilling every promise made in the past four years. He commended YSRC legislators for fearlessly reaching every corner of villages to explain the positive changes under Jagan Mohan Reddy's leadership.

Ramesh pointed out that the CM is revered by the poor, who have experienced his good work firsthand. He asserted that the YSRC stands out as the only party that has fulfilled 99 per cent of its promises and has not discarded or hidden its manifesto.
