Telangana HC Chief Justice to continue
Hyderabad: Hyderabad High Court Chief Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan and two senior judges who are working in this court on the transfer — Justice Raghavendra Chauhan ( Rajasthan High Court) and Justice V. Ramasubrama-nian (Madras High Court) — will continue as the judges of the Telangana High Court.
This was decided by President Ram Nath Kovind in consultation with Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi.
After allocation of the judges to the two High Courts, the Telangana High Court is left with 10 judges against the total allotted strength of 25. Keeping this in view, the Supreme Court decided to continue the services of the judges from other states in the Telangana High Court.
HC releases allocation list of judicial officers
The administration wing of the Hyderabad High Court on Thursday released the allocation list of judicial officers working in the lower courts of the two Telugu states.
Registrar General Ch Manvendranath Roy said 539 judicial officers were allotted to Andhra Pradesh and 362 officers to Telangana state.
This was after considering the recommendations of the Judges Advisory Committee, which was constituted by the Hyderabad High Court.
Among the 539 employees allocated to Andhra Pradesh, 110 judicial officers are of district judge cadre, 132 senior civil judges and 297 junior civil judge cadre.
In Telangana, 90 officers are of the district judge cadre, 71 are senior civil judges and 201 junior civil judge cadre.
