Bengaluru: Deputy chief minister G Parameshwar ruled out any kind of heated arguments with former CM and CLP leader Siddaramaiah over relinquishing the home portfolio and termed it as the “pure imagination of media.”
Talking to reporters here on Thursday, he claimed that the meeting convened here on Wednesday to discuss the allocation of portfolios to eight newly sworn in ministers, in the presence of AICC general secretary and Incharge of Karnataka affairs K C Venugopal, was held in cordial atmosphere. "Should not we discuss among us....both print and visual media have published false news which is going to tarnish the credibility of media in journalism ".
Dr G Parameshwar said he was ready to relinquish any portfolio and accept whatever was decided by party high command.
This yardstick was applicable to all of them, he said, adding he did not mind being stripped of all the portfolios given to him.
