Hyderabad: CBI books three SBI staff for fraud
The fraud came to light when a custom-er Praveen compla-ined of his money going missing.
Hyderabad: CBI sleuths on Thursday booked three SBI employees for committing multiple irregularities, which include illegal cash withdraw-als by transferring amount from customer accounts and thereby causing a loss of Rs 3.46 crore to the bank.
The three employees facing charges are from SBI Nagar-guda branch — manager N. Krishna Aditya, cashier Lella Sasidhar and former temporary messenger Arey Satyam.
The CBI officials found that the fraud was committed by the branch manager between March 2015 and January 2018. He created bank accounts for fictitious persons and used those accounts to draw overdraft to siphon off funds.
The fraud came to light when a customer Praveen complained of his money going missing.
