Edappadi K Palaniswami calls Senthil Balaji political trader'
Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami hit out at former minister Senthil Balaji, who rejoined DMK recently, by calling him a ‘political trader’ .
The Chief Minister made a scathing attack on Senthil Balaji, after more supporters from various parties in Karur district joined in the AIDMK in his presence and that of his deputy O. Panneerselvam at the party headquarters in Royapettah.
“Yes, he (Senthil Balaji) is a political trader and started his business in the AIADMK. After completing his business, he jumped to the Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK). Now, he restarted his new business in the DMK,” the Chief Minister charged, adding that former Chief Minister Amma (Jayalalithaa) had given a party ticket to Balaji to contest as MLA and had even honoured him by giving the transport portfolio. “However, Senthil Balaji forgot all this and started joining hands with those who are waiting for an opportunity to create a rift in the ADADMK,” Palaniswami said. Not only that, Balaji joined the AMMK to break the AIADMK, he said, adding that he did not spare the AMMK, as he shifted his loyalty to the DMK.
