Bengaluru: Four killed in separate road accidents
BENGALURU: Four people were killed in separate road accidents in the city since Monday night. In the first incident the front wheel of a speeding autorickshaw got detached and the vehicle collided head on with a bike, leading to the death of the bike rider, in Hulimavu traffic police limits.
The incident happened around 11.45 am and the deceased has been identified as Imdad Ahmed Lashkar, a resident of J P Nagar and working at a private company in Banashankari. Imdad met with the accident while going to office. He sustained injuries and later succumbed at a hospital. Hulimavu traffic police has registered a case against the auto driver, who is currently absconding.
In another accident, a 32 -year-old man was died after two two-wheelers collided at on Allalasandra railway bridge on Monday night. The deceased has been identified as Devraj, employee with a solar company.
According to police, the other two-wheeler rider Murthy (25) was coming in the wrong direction. The collision happened around 11.45 pm and both sustained head injuries. They were hospitalized and Devraj succumbed to injuries on Tuesday. Murthy’s condition is reported to be critical.
In the third incident on Monday evening, a 40-year-men died, after his two-wheeler was hit by a speeding lorry on Ballari road. The deceased has been identified as Prabhakar, a security guard. He succumbed to head injuries.
In the fourth incident, a 36-year-old garment factory employee died on the spot, while five of her colleagues sustained injuries, after the company mini bus toppled in Nelamangala. The deceased has been identified as Kamala, a resident of Heggare village in Tumkur. The Injured were shifted to Nimhans.
