Police raided Revanth's brother Kondal Reddy residence

Kamareddy: Police raided the house of TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy's brother Kondal Reddy in Kamareddy on Tuesday night and questioned him for overstaying in the constituency after the end of the election campaign. Revanth Reddy is contesting against Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao in Kamareddy.

Kondal Reddy told the police that he was the chief election agent for an independent candidate, and produced his identity card.

Speaking to reporters, Kondal Reddy alleged that after BRS working president and minister K.T. Rama Rao visited Kamareddy, Counter Intelligence and SIB police had camped in the town. BRS MLC Sheri Subhash Reddy, former mayor Bonthu Rammohan and Rama Rao and others gad stayed on in Kamareddy after the campaign ended at 5 pm but the police had failed to initiate action. He said that he would complain with the Election Commission.

Kondal Reddy said that private vehicles were parked beside his residence under suspicious circumstances. Police are harassing Congress leaders, he alleged.
