Missing Samjwaadi Forward Bloc candidate surfaces after five days

Mr. Dinesh Chakrawarthy, had disappeared from November 22 and they were suspecting the hand of the ruling TRS leaders in his disappearance.

Hyderabad: On Tuesday, the Station House Officer of Gajwel police station produced before the Hyderabad High Court, Mr K. Dinesh Chakrawarthy, the contesting candidate of the Samjwaadi Forward Bloc (SFB) Party from Gajwel Assembly constituency who had been allegedly disappearing from November 22.

Mr Dinesh told a division bench comprising Justice Raghvendra S. Chauhan and Justice M. Satyanarayana Murthy that he was not detained by anyone and he had already withdrawn his nomination to contest from Gajwel.

Stating that he had nothing to do with the filing of habeas corpus petition by his party president, he alleged that the president moved the court suppressing the facts.

The bench was dealing with the petition by Mr L. Muralidhar Rao, SFB party national president, who had alleged that their party contestant from Gajwel constituency, Mr. Dinesh Chakrawarthy, had disappeared from November 22 and they were suspecting the hand of the ruling TRS leaders in his disappearance.
