Hyderabad: The gang, which committed burglaries and thefts ranging from high-end cars which they ditched after joyrides to mobile phones, changed their residence every 15 days to evade cops. Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said that they actively committed offences in posh localities of Chennai, Nellore and Hyderabad.
Karri Satti Babu is a habitual house burglary offender and he frequently shifts his shelter from one area to another area to avoid , said the Police Commissioner, adding that a car once stolen was recovered from them on Bangalore Highway road.
“Satish was previously involved in 48 burglary cases, including four automobile theft cases in Vishakapatnam, Kakinada town, Vijayawada, Vizianagaram town, Hyderabad City, Suryapet Town and Bangalore city. The Hyderabad City Police has also invoked PD Act against him,” the officials said.
