Bengaluru: The Police Sahitya Sambhrama and Kavigoshti, a state-level police literature festival was inaugurated by Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy at Ravindra Kalakshetra on Monday.
The Bengaluru police organised the event in coordination with the Kannada Development Authority and Police Literature Forum.
The Samavasthradolagondu Sutthu Volume 4, a book of works collected by Joint Commissioner of Police D.C. Rajappa, which describe the life and struggle of the policemen, was released by Mr Reddy. Mr S.G. Siddaramayya, a former Chairman of Kannada Pustaka Pradhikara, T. Suneel Kumar, Bengaluru Police Commissioner, Neelamani N. Raju, DG&IGP, IPS officer Praveen Sood and others were present.
The book contains real life experiences of policemen and their struggles.
