Bengaluru: The Girinagar police have taken up a suo motu case against sandalwood actor Duniya Vijay and family members for breaching peace in the city.
The actor’s family members are locked in various legal battles among themselves and in some instances they and their fans were indulging in violence.
The police have registered a case against Duniya Vijay and seven others under CrPC 107 as a preventive measure to maintain peace in the city.
Following orders from DCP (South) Annamalai, Girinagar police summoned them to the station and warned them.
