Visakhapatnam: The erstwhile Vizianagaram district's Salur and Bobbili experienced slight tremors on Wednesday. The earth shook for two to three seconds, prompting people to come out of their houses.
The tremors were also felt in the streets of PoradaVeedhi, Gandhi Bomma Centre, Colbagh, and Ramabhadrapuram in the Bobbili constituency town.
Geological experts said that the earthquake that occurred in Bobbili was measured 4.5 on the Richter scale. They advised people to come out of houses or buildings when earthquake tremors are experienced for more than two seconds.
No damage was reported due to the tremors.
