Uttam Kumar Reddy asks Tamilisai to probe Gutta Reddy ‘bribes’ to Congressmen

He urged the Governor to order a probe into the matter through central intelligence agencies.

Hyderabad: TPCC president and MP N. Uttam Kumar Reddy has written to Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan alleging that Council Chairman Gutta Sukhendar Reddy had paid a large amount of money to some Congress leaders to defect to the TRS. He also alleged that Mr Sukhender Reddy had secured a Rs 719-crore deal for his son Amit Reddy.

He urged the Governor to order a probe into the matter through central intelligence agencies.

He alleged that Mr Sukhender Reddy had called Palakeedu ZPTC Motilal Naik, sarpanch Jithendar Reddy and other Congress leaders from Huzurnagar to his house in Filmnagar and gave them money to join the TRS.

He said Mr Sukhender Reddy’s son Amit Reddy was being given large tenders in a non-transparent manner.
