Vijayawada: The state government has ordered advance payment of salaries for September 2017 to its employees for Dasara.
The GO No. 1960 directs that the government employees including teachers and other workers be given their salary and pensioners paid pension for the month of September 2017 in advance on September 27 instead of paying on October 1 to celebrate Durgastami and Dasara on September 28 and 30.
The government has directed the Treasuries and Accounts, Pay and Accounts, Works and Accounts Director to follow the order for the payment of salaries to the government employees and pensioners in advance on Wednesday.
