MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar donates for Kodagu flood relief
Bengaluru: MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar wants to help rehabilitate the flood-affected victims of Kodagu on the lines of the Aasara project where 80,000 homes were built after the floods in North Karnataka. Stating that he will work directly with NGOs and citizen groups to ensure help reaches affected people of Kodagu, Mr Rajeev said he has reached out to many corporates around the country to help the flood affected.
" With the help of our media organisations, we have already dispatched 32 truckload of relief supplies to Kerala and Kodagu. Apart from the personal donation of Rs 10 lakhs, I will continue support operations with funds from MPLAD and further work with the state government in ensuring rehabilitation of people in Kodagu is prioritised," he told Deccan Chronicle.
