Hyderabad: A minor fire broke out at the L Block housing the AP Secretariat on Saturday. It was first noticed when flames burst out from an air-conditioning unit on the fifth floor.
The offices of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Chief Secretary S.P. Tucker are located in the block. Mr Tucker also looks after the planning department which is located in the fifth floor. Both were not at the Secretariat.
After an alert from security personnel, the fire brigade reached the spot and put out the fire. Officials said two computers and some files were damaged by the fire.
