Chennai: The DMK president M K Stalin saluted the memory of the late President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam on his fourth death anniversary on Saturday.
Paying warm tributes to the eminent scientist and technologist who played a key role in the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Stalin described Dr Kalam as a "science hero".
When the nation remembers him on his death anniversary today, Mr Stalin said one should not lose sight of the fact that youth and students was Dr Kalam's 'hope'.
"We will take oath to shape a humane society that he wished for and follow his path that everyone should be willing to even sacrifice one's life for the nation," Stalin said in a message.
