ALAPPUZHA: At least 79 boats including 24 snake boats will contest in the 67th edition of Nehru Trophy Boat Race (NTBR) to be held on August 10
at Punnamada Lake here.
According to district administration, 20 snake boats are registered in A grade and four under B grade. At least 55 small boats will take part this season. While four under Churulan category, four will contest in Iruttukutti A.
In Iruttukutti B category, 15 boat will take part and 10 will be n Iruttukutti C category.

Veppu A grade-10
Veppu B -6
Thekkanodi (Kettu) -3
Thekkanodi (Thara)-3
