Hyderabad: GHMC commissioner D.S. Lokesh Kumar and prohibition and excise commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmad have been appointed as additional chief electoral officer and joint chief electoral officer respectively on Wednesday.
Election Commission of India principal secretary Rahul Sharma issued orders to this effect. The ECI has approved both appointments. The ECI appointed Sarfaraz Ahmad as joint chief electoral officer of Telangana state replacing IFS officer T. Ravi Kiran.
