Hyderabad: Congress Malkajgiri MP A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday filed a PIL before the High Court seeking a direction to the TS government to not demolish the Secretariat buildings.
Mr Reddy, who is also the state Congress working president, said the Secretariat buildings would stay for up to five decades. The buildings were built between 1990 and 2000 with all safety measures. “The state is going ahead with the demolition of a stable and concrete structure. it is nothing but creating lavishness and luxury,” Mr Revanth Reddy said.
