Video: Mumbai student ransacks police station after being held for drunk driving
Mumbai: A video showing an inebriated girl creating ruckus in a police station in Worli, Mumbai, after she was arrested of drunk driving has gone viral in the social media.
According to reports, 21-year-old Gauri Bhide, an architectural student, was apprehended with her friends on June 16 for rash driving after she rammed the car onto a divider and then onto a footpath.

The video, which has gone viral shows the young woman creating a ruckus in the police station, yelling abuses, kicking and slapping police officers, and destroying police property while her friends are trying to hold her back.
In a drama that spanned 10 minutes, Bhide’s managed to pull the wires out of a computer and fling it to the ground, break a windowpane, smash several of the cops' phones.
The accused were taken to JJ hospital for medical test and were charged under Sections 279, 332, 353, 427 and 34 of IPC and held in police custody overnight, following which they were released on a bail, senior Police Inspector Vinay Kulkarni from the Worli police station said.
