Hyderabad: Sportspersons who use LB stadium protested in front of the stadium and called for the stadium not to be used for political events. BJP Begum Bazaar corporator Shankar Yadav who came out in their support was taken into preventive custody by Saifabad police.
The sportspersons’ main demand is to ban political events in the stadium and use it solely for sporting activities.
Mr Yadav uses the stadium for sports and on Monday morning visited the stadium to support the protestors.
