Hyderabad: The third edition of the Human Library was conducted by the British Council here on Saturday. As many as 19 individuals were rated as ‘Human Books’.
Many enthusiastic readers attended the event with the aim of having conversations with each other that would challenge stereotypes and shatter prejudices.
Parallel conversations happened throughout the day when these ‘Human Books’ shared experiences and stories and also answered questions posed by the attendees. The list of Human Books consisted of a male dancer, ex-addict, a travel theatre artist, a special needs educator and a black metal artist, etc.
