Telugu Desam wants Vijaya Sai Reddy’s bail to be cancelled

Umamaheswara Rao predicted that YSRC would be merged with BJP after the election results and Mr Vijaya Sai Reddy.

Vijayawada: The war of words between Telugu Desam and YSR Congress went to the peak with allegations and challenges. YSRC MP V. Vijaya Sai Reddy has been leveling allegations against the TD through his Twitter account and objecting the same, minister for water resources D. Umama-heswara Rao challenged Vijaya Sai Reddy to come before the public and speak to TD, in front of media.

He said that the public and TD will give a befitting lesson to the YSRC leaders. Mr Umamah-eswara Rao alleged that Mr Vijaya Sai Reddy has been doing blackmail politics despite wandering on bail. Hence, he sought the court to cancel Mr Reddy’s bail for violation of norms.

Mr Vijaya Sai Reddy ridiculed AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu as capable to stop lightning and thunderbolts by conducting review meetings but alleged that as the CM, Mr Naidu did not conduct review meets and seven persons died in the lightning mishaps. He further ridiculed that Mr Naidu’s madness has increased and it is time to shift him to Erragadda or Visakhapatnam for treatment.

Addressing a Press meet at Vijayawada on Saturday, Mr Umamaheswara Rao predicted that YSRC would be merged with BJP after the election results and Mr Vijaya Sai Reddy has been conducting talks with the BJP for the merger. He claimed that Mr Vijaya Sai Reddy is a financial terrorist who is accused number 2 in 13 corruption cases and predicted that he should be ready to go to Tihar jail in the coming days. He alleged that IAS officials, industrialists, MLAs and ministers went to jail due to the corruption of YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and opined that it will be in disaster for AP if YSRC comes into power.

Mr Umamaheswara Rao refuted the allegations of YSRC leaders about AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu conducting review meetings to get commissions in various projects and schemes. He claimed that Mr Naidu had conducted 102 review meetings on Polavaram and visited the project site for 30 times for the swift completion of the project and not for commissions. He further claimed that TD fulfilled all promises and implemented welfare schemes for the public and not for commission.

Mr Umamaheswara Rao claimed that Mr Jagan and Mr Vijaya Sai Reddy are ready to merge YSRC into BJP if corruption cases against them are withdrawn and now, talks are under progress between the duo parties. He demanded Mr Vijaya Sai Reddy and other YSRC leaders to stop levelling baseless allegations against TD and further to stop defaming Mr Naidu.
