KOZHIKODE: A stray dog went berserk at Government UP School, Onchiyam, biting 10 people in the premises on Saturday evening. Those residing nearby and people at the petty shops were attacked.
The injured include Punnola Manojan, Puthanpurayil Yousuf, Puthanpurayil Chandru and Kunnoth Greeshma.
They were admitted at Kozhikode government medical college for vaccination. Others were treated at Vadakara government district hospital.
Later, the local residents killed the dog. People alleged that chicken waste thrown from a nearby marriage house caused the stray menace.
