KSRTC bags HUDCO award
Bengaluru: KSRTC has bagged prestigious “HUDCO award for best practices to improve the Living Environment-2018-19,” constituted by the Central Government.
The corporation got this award for its initiative to introduce city bus services at Tier II & III cities. It carries a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and it was given away at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
KSRTC Managing Director Shivayogi C. Kalasad received the award from HUDCO Chairman and Managing Director Dr M. RaviKanth, and former diplomat G. Parthasararhy, who is currently President of Governing Council of India Habitat Centre.
KSRTC has also bagged “IOL Times Now Network Excellence in Road Logistics Industry in India” under the category “Best Passenger Transport Inter-City" at New Delhi on April 26.
Kalasad received the award from Nihir Bhat, Chief Editor, Times Now Network and Gurmit Singh, Director Branding & Communication, Indian Oil.
