Kakinada: Though BJP National General Secretary Varanasi Ram Madhav tried to boost the party leaders and cadre in the review meetings, there has been no move from the leaders in this direction.
At a recent meeting, Mr Ram Madhav called upon the leaders and cadre to strengthen the party and prove their strength in the coming local body and civic body elections. Main political parties such as YSR Congress and Telugu Desam have been facing local body and civic body elections, and the BJP leaders have not been paying any attention to it.
The party had appointed Booth Committees, but the leadership was not able to give a plan of action to them to move the party among the people. “All are waiting for the results of General and Assembly elections on May 23. After that, the party leaders may arrange mandal-level meeting with the party cadre and give a direction to them,” said a leader of the party.
However, the cadre have been keeping hopes on Mr Ram Madhav to draw a plan of action for strengthening the party in AP.
