Hyderabad: 300 under treatment, health camps set up
Diarrhoea victims’ stool, vomit samples taken.

Hyderabad, Nizamabad: Samples of stools and vomit have been collected from the victims who suffered from diarrhea to identify the sources of contamination, and the victims are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the district of Kamareddy in Nizamsagar Mandal.
“These samples are being tested to identify the source of contamination,” stated government officials.
While the first few samples were missed due to lack of officials acting on time, the available samples are being tested as the number of people suffering is huge.
With 300 people undergoing treatment, the government has started the scanning process by setting up three medical camps in the villages of Komalancha, Mugdum-pur, and Galipur. The water from these three villages has also been taken for testing purposes.
There are 50 victims who are undergoing treatment in the government area hospital in Banswada. They all are stated to be stable.
The Kamareddy district collector N. Satyanarayana, the joint collector P. Yadi Reddy, and other officials visited the affected villages on Wednesday to review the situation.
