Hyderabad: In the run-up to the polls, the Chief Electoral Officer (CO) Dr Rajat Kumar said that the poll duty orders have been issued to 1.8 lakh employees for duties as presiding officers, assistant presiding officers, other polling officers, and micro observers.
He said, “In addition to this, it is estimated that another 1 lakh or more people will be involved in various other poll duties.”
