VIJAYAWADA: Dhamaka sales have been giving great returns to the textile showrooms in Vijayawada. Keeping in view the stagnation, the textile showrooms have been offering big discounts on certain days. After the announcement, the public has been rushing towards these showrooms. Last three days, the showrooms got good response from the customers.
The new technique being adopted by textile showrooms is discount sales. In the name of clearance, they have been campaigning about discount sales. Previously, it happened only once in a year. But now, it has become a regular process. Whatever the occasion comes, there will be two or three days’ discount sales. In the last week, almost all the showrooms had campaigned about discount sales. Jagadish, manager of a reputed textile shop, told DC that they were getting good response for these discount sales. “We will have certain period for the stock. If the stock value exceeds certain amount at a certain time, we will decide to put them for discount sales.”
