Warangal: The parents of T. Ravali, who was set on fire by a fellow student outside her college hostel on Wednesday, said they were not aware that their daughter was in a relationship.
Ravali’s father, T. Sudhakar Rao, a farmer, said Ravali had been living in the hostel for about a month but was in contact with them over the phone.
“Even during her most recent conversations over the phone, she did not mention about this boy or about any fight with her friends. I was working on my farm when I received information that my daughter was attacked. I rushed to the MGM hospital and found her in this state. On the advice of doctors, we are taking her to Hyderabad,” Mr Rao said.
