Telangana HC rejects plea over illegal constructions
Hyderabad: Taking exception on the filing of a petition bereft of details, the Telangana High Court on Wednesday disposed of the petition of Andhra Pradesh MLC Deepak Reddy relating to illegal constructions in 6.10 acres of land in survey no 294 of Gudimalkkapur village in the city.
Justice Challa Koda-ndaram, while dealing with the petition, made it clear that the petition had to contain full information under the Right to Information Act, in relation to illegal constructions on the stated land.
When Mannapalli Venkata Raghu, the counsel for the petitioner complained that GHMC officials were acting as mute spectators even though huge constructions were going on illegally, the judge intervened and questioned the counsel, how it was related to the present GHMC Commi-ssioner. The Court allowed the petitioner to file a fresh plea with complete details.
