Kakinada: East Godavari SP Vishal Gunni inaugurated a signal room for combined action party of CRPF and Anti-Naxal Squad personnel and a barrack for CRPF personnel on the premises of district police office here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that when the CRPF and ANS personnel involve in any combined operation, the signal room would be utilised for communication purpose.
With regard to newly inaugurated CRPF barrack, the SP said that it has all necessary amenities. The SP also flagged off seven ‘crime spot’ vehicles sanctioned to East Godavari and allotted them one each to six divisions and one kept at district head quarter.
He said that each crime spot vehicle would be having a head constable and a police constable armed with a kit bag to reach to the crime spot and collect clues immediately help expedite inquiry to nab the culprits.
