Hyderabad: A 58-year-old man, who was crossing the road, was hit by a speeding bike at Raidurgam on Wednesday. The man succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital and the biker is undergoing treatment.
At about 11.50 pm on Tuesday, Mohd Chand Pasha, 58, who worked as a security guard at Spencer’s supermarket at Gachibowli, finished his duties and started walking to his house located at Chitrapuri Colony in Manikonda.
Chand Pasha was crossing the main road opposite Sunshine Hospital; when Jim George, 28, was speeding on his bike and hit him. He was flung into the air and fell at a distance. The biker too lost control and fell, receiving injuries. Passersby shifted the duo to Sunshine Hospital for treatment, where Chand Pasha succumbed at 2 am on Wednesday, while the biker is undergoing treatment.
Based on a complaint from the victim’s son, a case has been registered under Section 304 (A) and 337 of IPC for investigation by the police.
