Vidwath fit to be discharged: Doctors
Bengaluru: Doctors overseeing the treatment of twenty four year old Vidwath, who was brutally assaulted by Congress MLA N.A. Haris’ son Mohammed Nalapad Haris and rushed to Mallya Hospital late on Saturday night, said the victim is making a rapid recovery and would probably be fit enough to go home in 24 hours.
Opening the doors for the young man to finally give a statement on the incident, his treating doctor, Dr Anand, consulting plastic surgeon at Mallya Hospital told Deccan Chronicle: "Vidwath has recovered remarkably and is absolutely fine. All his parameters are good and he can eat, drink, talk. There has been a 98% overall improvement in his condition and the tablets have also been reduced to only one (for pain, if needed)."“He is fit enough to be discharged, " Dr Anand said , adding that he had spoken to Vidhwath’s parents and told them this morning that he is perfectly fine and can be discharged. “So, now it is up to the family whether they want him to stay for another day or more," he said. “All the doctors have given him the green signal to go home,” he added.
