Thrissur: Kerala Council for Historical Research (KCHR) Director P J Cherian along with the students and faculty of the council held a protest at the venue as the President left stage without visiting the museum that was set up at the convention centre.
“Mr Mukherjee was scheduled to visit the exhibition, but later changed the programme and left the venue after the inauguration and we protest against this by observing silence and resorting to fast,” he said.
