Telangana may receive moderate rain for 2 more days

The highest rainfall in the city was 54.7mm recorded at Shapurnagar in Malkajgiri on Sunday morning.

Hyderabad: Light to moderate rainfall was reported in some parts of the city such as Khairatabad, Bandlaguda and the Old City.

The highest rainfall in the city was 54.7mm recorded at Shapurnagar in Malkajgiri on Sunday morning. The weather has remained cloudy in many parts of the state throughout the day.

Some districts in the state recorded much higher rainfall — 100 mm in Nagnoor in Siddipet, and 90 mm in Narmetta, Bhupalpally, Huzurabad and others.

According to the Telangana State Development and Planning Society (TSDPS), light to moderate rain or thunderstorm will prevail over the state for the next two days, mainly over the southern districts of the state.

Maximum temperatures are expected to be two or three degrees below normal, which is 26 to 29°C, while the minimum temperature is expected to be two or three degrees above normal, which is 17 to 20°C.
