Vijayawada: Former MLA Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga Rao’s death anniversary has been observed here on Tuesday. Vangaveeti Radha Krishna, son of Ranga, paid homage to his father at Raghavaiah Park. Ex-MLA Vangaveeti Radha Krishna said Ranga never believed in the barriers of caste, religion or region.
He said: “Even after 30 years of my father Ranga’s death, people are still remembering his death anniversaries everywhere. He has a special place in the poor people’s hearts. All fans of Ranga should work unitedly in the future also.”
Mr Krishna’s followers took out rallies in the city. Mr Krishna toured the city and remembered Mr Ranga to the people at all major junctions. The programme continued till late in the evening. At YSRC office, the leaders paid tributes to the portrait of Mohan Ranga mourning to the photo of Vangaveeti Ranga and garlanded it. Ex Minister K.Pardha Saradhi, EX MLAs Malladi Vishnu, Vellampalli Srinivas and others have memorised the services of the Vangaveeti Ranga.
