Hyderabad: Traffic advisory for November 28
Hyderabad: In view of the Hyderabad Metro Rail Inauguration on November 28, 2017 at 3.30 pm and other important events, Cyberabad traffic police diverted traffic and issued an advisory for the commuters.
Vehicles proceeding from Miyapur towards Konda-pur/Kothaguda should take diversion through Chanda-nagar, Nallagandla flyover, Gulmohar Park Junction and Hyderabad Central University via Gachibowli.
Vehicles proceeding to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) from Miyapur should take diversion through Chandanagar, Patancheru and ORR.
Vehicles leaving from Mathrusri Nagar should take diversion via Sheela Park Pride to Manjeera road.
Vehicles coming from Patan-cheru, Icrisat Beeramguda, RC Puram, Ashok Nagar and BHEL towards Kukatpally should take diversion via BHEL Rotary, Nallagandla flyover, Gulmohar Park Junction, Hyderabad Central University and Mehdipatnam to Hyderabad.
Vehicles coming from Zaheerabad, Narayankhed, Sangareddy towards Kukat-pally should take diversion through Outer Ring Road Muttangi.
The above traffic restrictions shall be in force between 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm on November 28.
All the delegates after the GES inauguration will leave towards Falaknuma from HICC, Madhapur at 7.00 pm, in view of this, all commuters plying through Kothaguda, Botanical Garden, Gachibowli and Outer Ring Road are advised to take an alternate route between 6 pm to 8 pm. Gachibowli flyover, however will be kept open throughout the event.
Public are requested to co-operate with the traffic police by using only these routes if there is an emergency as there would be frequent road blocks due to the VVIP movements.
People working in the IT corridor are advised to make a note of the traffic advisory and make alternative arrangements.
