Hyderabad: IMD rain alert for next 2 days
The Indian Meteor-ological Department said there is a likelihood of thunderstorm and lightning on October 27 and 28.
Hyderabad: Heavy rain and thunderstorms have been forecast for the next two days, possibly making it a wet Diwali in the city and environs. The Indian Meteor-ological Department said there is a likelihood of thunderstorm and lightning on October 27 and 28 due to a depression in the Bay of Bengal and the impact of Cyclone Kyaar in the Arabian sea.
Weather expert, Rajanikanth Poolla, said, “The cyclone has led to a change in the wind patterns. It has also led to moisture being pulled in from the Bay of Bengal due to which TS and AP are seeing a strong movement of clouds. There will be more thunderstorms due to the change in the wind’s direction.”
