TJAC chairman M Kodandaram firm on Koluvula Kotlata
Warangal: Accusing the state government of trying to put obstacles in its public meeting ‘Koluvula Kotlata’, TJAC chairman M. Kodandaram said here on Thursday that this was a violation of the provisions of Article 19 of the Constitution and an attempt to stifle the voices of the unemployed. “Since the government is not giving us a concrete reason for denial of permission for our public meeting, we were forced to move court. The High Court will take a decision on Monday. It is wrong to reject permission citing law and order though the TJAC has given an assurance that the meeting would be peaceful,” Prof. Kodandaram said.
Declaring that the public meeting will go on as schedule at any cost, he asked students and the youth to get ready. The JAC held a meeting at Warangal on Thursday with local leaders and discussed arrangements to be made for the Hyderabad meeting. “We are receiving good response from the youth during our campaign,” Prof. Kodandaram said, urging TJAC supporters and leaders to be ready to conduct the meeting even if the court delays its judgement.
