Vijayawada: Water resources minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao said people can lodge complaints against any issue relating to the governance or individuals, including him, by dailling 1100. He said there is a huge response to 1100 and said the state government would take necessary action on all complaints registered through 1100. Pointing to the YSRC criticising and levelling allegations against the TD regarding the roads laid by the government by visiting every house, the minister said it was not fair on the part of the Opposition party.
He ridiculed Opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for doing rounds of the courts in connection with involvement in scams. The minister, while participating in Intintiki Telugu Desam programme in Mylavaram constituency, appealed to the people to teach a befitting lesson to the YSRC for the baseless allegations being raised by it.
Addressing media here on Thursday, Mr Rao said Mylavaram is the gateway of Amaravati. He said the Chief Minister is working hard round-the-clock for the development of the state leaving aside his personal benefits the work progress of polavaram project YSRC Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy is standing before law attending court.
