Telangana BC commission chief hails TS welfare schemes

BC Commission chairman offered special prayers at the temple, whose priests welcomed him with Purna Kumbam amid sacred chants

KARIMNAGAR: Telangana Backward Classes Commission is formulating a well-chalked out plan for comprehensive development of BC communities in the state, commission chairman Vakulabharanam Krishna Mohan declared here on Monday.

He was speaking after visiting the Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy Temple in Ellanthakunta mandal of Huzurabad constituency in Karimnagar district for the first time after taking charge as BC commission chairman. He offered special prayers at the temple, whose priests welcomed him with Purna Kumbam amid sacred chants.

Krishna Mohan said unlike other states across the country, Telangana is implementing several welfare schemes for well being of various communities living in the state. This is a good sign for all-round development of the state.

All necessary steps will be taken for implementing welfare schemes meant for people of various BC communities. “As chairman of BC commission, I will strive hard and render best services to uplift BCs in the state”, he underlined.

MPP S. Pavani, MPTC forum president M. Ilaiah, MPTC Sanjeev Reddy, R. Ashok, P. Mallaiah, T. Raj Kumar, P. Rama Swamy, B. Sadanandam, N. Satyam and P. Sampath were among those present.
