Telangana reported 6,000 Rohingyas, says G Kishan Reddy

Asked whether the National Register of Citizens would be implemented in the state, he said the Centre had not taken a decision.

Hyderabad: Minister of state, home, G. Kishan Reddy said the TS government had informed the Centre that the state had 6,000 Rohingyas.

Mr Reddy criticised Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for blaming the Centre for the economic crisis in the state.

“There has no decrease in the Budget from the Centre to the state. The Union Budget is very different from the state Budget. The Central Budget has fiscal discipline while the state Budget has none.:

To a question on MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s statement on US President Donald Trump for calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘father of India’, he replied “Owaisi is an MP. He does not have the level to question the US President.”
